The A-1 Inn Motel is placed at Lundy’s Lane at the heart of a bustling business and entertainment district, most of which is within walking distance. The street boasts a great range of attractions, particularly suited for families. Within a 5-15 minute walk, there is a variety of mini-golf courses, go-kart tracks, and haunted houses and wax museums – classic tourist traps. It’s a fun place to walk around in at night.

For dining, it is extremely walkable. Lundy’s Lane has a great plethora of restaurants from every kind of taste to every budget and right from the motel’s doorstep one can find Canadian pancake houses, and family-style restaurants as well as numerous types of international food like Italian, Chinese, or Indian. So this will enable you to find a different eating place for each meal without getting on the wheels.

One should bear in mind, though, that it’s not like you can just take a quick walk to view the famous Horseshoe Falls. They’re about 3-4 kilometers from the big tourist area on Clifton Hill and the casinos. Walking there can be done but it’s a pretty far hike for most people. To get to the major part of the falls, visitors would have to be driving, or better yet take advantage of the WEGO public bus system.
